DHL to debut zero-emission electric delivery vans in U.S. cities

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Deutsche Post DHL Group’s StreetScooter electric automobile unit will input the U.S. marketplace subsequent 12 months as delivery corporations and municipalities paintings to minimize greenhouse gasoline emissions.

DHL will debut StreetScooter’s zero-emission Work L delivery van in two city U.S. markets, one on every coast, beginning in Spring 2020, the corporations stated. They didn’t specify which markets will be the first.

Full deployment may come in 2022 and 2023, stated Ulrich Stuhec, StreetScooter’s leader generation officer, who joined the corporate from Ford Motor Co in October.
